Wont dial pauses or codes

This app has one glaring shortcoming.
It will not allow you to enter any kind of an answering machine retrieval code or extension following the phone number. If you look at the keypad that pops up when you go to enter a phone number, there is a +*# key at the bottom left. Touching this brings up a keypad for entering special codes. It includes a key marked pause and a key marked wait.
If I enter my home phone number and then pause 55 it will retrieve my answering machine messages automatically. Siri passes the phone number plus the ,55 perfectly. Alas Touch Icon does not.

Oddly enough this worked for just a brief period when ios6 was released and Touch Icon had not yet been updated, but it has quit working now with the latest Touch Icon update.
